The JFEC700 plate evaporator uses special plates with alternating product and heating channels. The plates are sealed with gaskets located in specially designed grooves that do not require glue. The product and the heat transfer fluids are transferred against the current through the corresponding channels. The defined plate spacings associated with the specially shaped plates create strong turbulence, resulting in optimal heat transfer.
