1. Types of dirt

Different types of fouling are formed by different heat exchanger structures and different fluid media. According to the classification of the main physical and chemical processes that cause fouling deposition, fouling can be divided into crystallization fouling, particle fouling, chemical reaction fouling, corrosion fouling, microbial slime fouling, coagulation fouling and other fouling types.

2. The characteristics of dirt
Devitrification fouling
Crystallizing fouling is a crystalline deposit that precipitates on the heat exchange surface because some dissolved inorganic salts contained in the flowing medium are in a supersaturated state during the production process. Common crystallization foulants are scale and rust. The solubility of general inorganic salts increases with temperature, and such inorganic salts often crystallize on cooling surfaces; the solubility of another type of inorganic salts (slightly soluble and poorly soluble inorganic salts with abnormal solubility) increases with temperature. Increase and decrease, such inorganic salts tend to crystallize on the heating surface. Crystallized dirt generally has a relatively large hardness and a relatively small viscosity.
