Structure and principle of plate heat exchanger

Author:

The main components of the flat plate heat exchanger are composed of heat exchange plates, gaskets, clamping plates, guide rods, and clamping bolts. The heat exchange plate is pressed and formed by stainless steel plate. There are 4 flow passage holes on the flat plate heat exchanger, the middle part is pressed with herringbone corrugations, and there are sealing grooves pressed around. The directions of the herringbone corrugations of adjacent heat exchange plates are opposite when installed, and the contact points support each other. The chevron-shaped corrugations and these support points make the fluid medium flow fully into turbulence, which is the main reason for the high heat exchange efficiency of the plate heat exchanger.

According to the temperature difference and flow rate of the medium, the plate heat exchanger can be assembled into the form of single flow, double flow, three flow and multi flow. Single flow means that the medium flows through one flow in the heat exchanger, double flow means that the medium flows back through two processes in the heat exchanger, and so on. When using multiple processes, the four interfaces of the heat exchanger cannot be on the clamping plate on the same side, and the inlet and outlet must be located on the front and rear clamping plates.
